Advantage Finance continue to invest in their growth ambitions with the purchase of additional premises in the heart of Grimsby, their base since 1999.

Increasing their office footprint by over 30% to now over 18 850 Sq. feet across 4 buildings, Advantage have come a long way since the day it opened its doors 25 years ago in one small top floor office building with 12 staff, 2 fax machines and no internet.

Since the founding of the business by S&U PLC, its highly respected parent founded in 1938, Advantage has grown to support over a quarter of million customers combining constant investment in technology with the personal touch of a company proud of its family ethos and standards of service.

Commenting on the expansion, CEO Karl Werner stated, ‘After an incredible 25 years in the sector, constantly investing in our team and supporting our customers, I’m overjoyed that the business continues to go from strength to strength and our confidence in our people and our market consistently wins the support of our parent. We are now perfectly placed to create an even better working environment for our colleagues as we look to a bright and successful future’

Anthony Coombs, Chairman of S&U Plc added, ‘Our team at Advantage, and their place at the forefront of a growing financial services sector in north-east Lincolnshire, has always had a very special place within the S&U family and we’re delighted to be investing further in a business that’s on course to enter another successful and ambitious phase of growth’
